Looking for a drink before or after your next Twins game? The Fan Girls have you covered!
Whether you’re looking for a lively atmosphere or a strong margarita, we have a variety of recommendations to help you plan your next day out in Minneapolis.
- Sneaky Pete's - This bar is located in the Warehouse District, just a few blocks from Target Field, and is known for its lively atmosphere and outdoor patio. It's a popular spot for pre-game drinks and tailgating. Sneaky Pete's has been open since 1979 and is a hot spot before sporting events for the younger crowd. If you’re stopping in before an early afternoon Twins game, we recommend having a screwdriver or mimosa.
- Cowboy Jack's - This bar is located directly across the street from Target Field and has a large outdoor patio with TVs for watching games. It's a popular spot for pre-game drinks and has a wide selection of beer and cocktails. This is a fun spot with great music and a popular roof-top hangout. If it’s an evening weekend in the summer, plan to wait in line for a few minutes. We recommend grabbing a group of friends and splitting a bucket of high noons before or after your next Twins game.
- The Loon Cafe - This bar is located about a block from Target Field and has a lively atmosphere and a large outdoor patio. It's known for its strong margaritas and Tex-Mex cuisine and is a popular spot for pre-and post-game drinks. The Loon Cafe's margaritas are a must-try - we love their traditional lime flavor. They're made with fresh-squeezed lime juice and come in a variety of flavors, including traditional, strawberry, and mango. They're the perfect complement to any meal, and we’d recommend trying them with some of their award-winning Chili.
- NOLO's Kitchen & Bar - This bar and restaurant offers a variety of cocktails and craft beers in a modern, industrial space. If you are looking for a more elevated option with extensive craft cocktails, this is a great option! NOLO’s has a large outdoor patio and a rooftop bar with views of the city skyline. Additionally, NOLO’s Kitchen and Bar owns Basement Bar, which is located below the restaurant and offers a more casual atmosphere. Basement Bar also hosts live music and events throughout the year, making it a popular spot for nightlife in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis.
-
Fulton Brewing Taproom - If you're a fan of craft beer, this taproom is a must-visit. It's located about a mile from Target Field and offers a variety of beers brewed on-site. We recommend their Lonely Blonde Ale or Sweet Child of Vine IPA. Both are popular flagship beers and a popular choice for beer fans. Fulton Brewing also offers a variety of seasonal and limited-release beers throughout the year, so be sure to check out their latest offerings, it’s well worth the walk.
