2025 Recap: A Year in the Life of Fan Girl

Wow. 2025… what a year. As a small, women-led business in the rollercoaster world of apparel, every year comes with its ups and downs. After getting married in 2023 and adding “mom” to my resume in late 2024, I spent a lot of January 2025 wondering: could I continue growing Fan Girl while also being the wife and mom my family deserved?

Looking back on the highs, lows, and everything in between, it’s amazing to see all that we accomplished in just one year—something we don’t always take the time to admit or celebrate

The Most Exciting Moments of 2025

Minnesota Timberwolves Launch:

Kicking off 2025, in February, we launched our very first NBA partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves, including a photoshoot at the Target Center and having our collection recognized as Item of the Game.

College Expansion:

During March Madness 2025, our Amazon sales channel thrived, reflecting the growth from 1 college license in 2023 to 16 college licenses in 2025. We also received licensing rights for the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Minnesota Lynx Launch:

In May, we created our second collection in in partnership with the Minnesota Lynx! In our second season with the team, we restocked the collection multiple times while the team had another strong and unforgettable season.

Minnesota State Fair Collection:

In late August, we launched our first-ever Minnesota State Fair collection! The collection showcased three t-shirts, two hats, and our very fist tote bag. The designs celebrated the fairs history and all that accompanies 12 fun days at the 2025 Minnesota State Fair!

Minnesota Vikings Partnership:

We finalized 2025 with an exciting professional team partnership with the Minnesota Vikings! The launch was the result of months of product planning, two full days of content shoots, and carefully crafted marketing campaigns. It all paid off when our team attended a game in early November to see Fan Girl front and center in the stadium store and recognized as Item of the Game.

Each of these milestones was a mix of excitement, nerves, and hard work, but seeing them come together reminded me why I love what we do at Fan Girl.

And now, December 22nd, 2025, I’ve finally taken a breath. What a year. Full of the highest highs, alongside the challenges of running a small business—working with a tiny but mighty team, wearing an endless number of hats, and navigating economic ups and downs. But we made it through.

Looking back, I can honestly say that it was possible to grow Fan Girl while also being the wife and mom my family deserved. The balance wasn’t always perfect, but each milestone, each late-night planning session, and each game-day launch reminded me that both roles are worth every bit of effort.

I want to thank you—every Fan Girl out there who has supported us in any way: liking or engaging on social media, visiting our website, placing an order, telling a friend about Fan Girl, providing feedback, or just cheering us on from afar. It’s because of you that Fan Girl continues to do what we do, and we get to build this business with all of you in mind.

Here’s to an incredible 2025 and looking ahead to 2026—we can’t wait to see what’s next!

With gratitude,

Jayme Fischer 💜
