Minneapolis Aquatennial Target Fireworks

July 26TH

The Target Fireworks are one of the most spectacular summer traditions in Minneapolis, lighting up the sky on the Mississippi Riverfront with a fully choreographed pyro-musical that ranks among the top five fireworks displays in the country. Drawing a crowd of around 250,000 spectators, the show uses over 10,000 pounds of fireworks, perfectly timed to music down to 1/100th of a second. It's a can't-miss July event that brings the city together for an unforgettable night. PRO TIP: Arrive early to grab a spot on the west side of the Mississippi River, along West River Parkway near Portland Avenue for one the best vantage points.
