Summer Intern Position

Are you a current student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities? Fan Girl is looking for a summer intern!

Job title: Summer Intern

Responsibilities:

• Assist in content creation for all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok)
• Manage posting schedule for all social channels
• Manage Instagram stories and in-feed posts in alignment with social strategy
• Manage customer service direct messages on all social channels
• Post updates and initiate engagement on Facebook community page(s)
• Schedule & manage photoshoots in alignment with product releases and necessary content needed
• Follow brand guidelines in all internal and external communications
• Assist with pop-up shop events & trunk shows
• Write blog posts about campus events, pop culture, sports, trends, etc. for the Fan Girl website
• Assist with email marketing campaigns congruent with marketing campaigns, company messaging, product releases, etc.
• Assist in building Fan Girl Campus brand ambassador program

Requirements:

• Commit to 20-25 hours per week (hybrid remote/in-person)
• Experience with Canva
• Social media savvy
• Loves ideating and creating content for social media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed
• Strong organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to ask questions
• Resourceful attitude & attention to detail

Pay Range:

• $16-$20 per hour based on previous work experience

Start Date:

• The first week of May 2024 (can be flexible if necessary)
